Sophie Holland

Sophie Holland was awarded the Roy Putze Scholarship in 2009. She is the daughter of NCSA member John G. Holland, of Sollich North America, LLC.

Sophie is in her first year at Florida State University, in Tallahassee, FL, where she is studying psychology. At Freedom High School, Sophie played lacrosse and was active in PETA projects. Sophie also competed both in an ensemble and individually as a violinist. She was the only student in the Orchestra V class, which required her to conduct an orchestra. She enjoys playing the violin, volunteering at her local hospital and participating in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
